Dual Language Program
At Power Kidz, parents have the option of enrolling their children in our Dual Language Program. The goal of the program is for the child to become bilingual in English and Spanish. Oral language development is promoted through immersion in a second language and strengthening of their first language. The program places an emphasis on learning words and phrases that will facilitate a child’s ability to communicate in the second language. The activities encouraging this learning process is centered on storytelling, creative play, song and dance. Language is also introduced directly and indirectly through hands-on games, crafts and activities. The activities allow students to engage in the learning process that effectively make learning a second language a success.
